Responsibilities:
- Prepares and direct preparation of detail drawings and mechanical specifications for all products.
- Document and maintain complete bills of materials for products.
- Administration and control of engineering change order process.
- Calculate and verify required structural integrity of equipment based on specific customer application

- Understands and implements the interface of computer designs with computer driven manufacturing machinery.
- Identifies, qualifies and interfaces with outsourced manufacturing facilities and equipment vendors throughout the world.
- Works with outsourced manufacturing facilities throughout the world to negotiate favorable pricing and adoption of best process practices.
- Updates and maintains quotation calculation spreadsheet and procedures to insure accurate cost estimates.
- Updates and maintains automatic process for sales quotation drawings based on customer specific data entered into an Excel spreadsheet.
- Prepares and directs preparation of documentation and drawings for customer quotations and marketing presentations.
- Design and direct the design of improvements in products based on customer and marketing input.

- Knowledge: High general mechanical aptitude, with creative ability to overcome both design and scheduling challenges.
- Highly Computer Literate – Microsoft Office, ACT, AutoCAD, 3D Design (Solid Works, or ProE)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) or physical science.
- 5+ years of relevant experience designing similar mechanical equipment.
- Fully functional working knowledge of AutoCAD (v14) and the ability to interface spreadsheet (Excel) design and configuration specifications into AutoCAD documentation.
- Experience with 3D computer design program (Solid Works or Pro Engineer).
- Understanding and experience with dynamic design and integration of static structures with moving assemblies.
- Experience integrating power transmission equipment into dynamic machinery.
- Understands both metric and imperial measurement systems and documentation and design standards.
- Ability to apply finite element analysis to simple beam stress analysis problems.
- Experience with design of structural steel elements and incorporation into assemblies.
- Knowledge of welding procedures for ferrous and alloy steels.
- Ability to interact with vendors and shop floor manufacturing personnel to oversee manufacturing process

- Oversee and perform the activities associated with the regional sales force to maximize on markets served.

Qualifications:

- Five years of direct experience and detailed knowledge of the water / wastewater industry
- Ability to travel, with minimal support and direction.
- Ability to work independently without direct daily supervision in an offsite location.
- Capacity to perform well in determining the processes towards goals.
- Highly computer literate – Excel, Word, Access, ACT.
- Ability to clearly communicate, both orally and written, with all functional levels within an organization (from board room to shop floor).
- Strong managerial and time management abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of a Senior Project Manager, provides enquiry and technical support to the company sales organization.
- Prepare, on a timely basis, domestic quotations for review by the Senior Project Manager.
- Assist in the planning, organization, control, integration, execution and completion of projects and orders. This is to include, but not be limited to:
- Preparation, monitoring and control of all project schedules and milestones
- Preparation, review and timely completion of all project submittals
