CASE STUDY: Sellers Street Pumping Station, New Jersey
Pumps No Longer Clogging Up at Sellers Street Pumping Station, New Jersey

During storms, the Sellers Street Pumping Station, a storm water station, was overwhelmed with garbage, vegetation and other floating objects carried along in high water. Station officials contacted Pumping Services Inc. (“PSI”) to create a solution for removal of these objects. PSI in turn, recommended Headworks® to help alleviate the backup of trash during high water conditions.

In July 2006, after careful planning, the decision was made to purchase a Headworks Bar Screen to solve Sellers Street’s demand for front-end waste removal. Now that the screen has been installed and has been operating for several months, the owners are delighted with their decision. The plant’s storm water pump functions up to capacity for the first time in years with no complications.

The entire operation was a success and the client was completely satisfied with the results. Do you have problems with storm water debris causing maintenance headaches and expensive downtime? Contact Headworks® for an expert analysis and solution driven products. |
