MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Michele M. LaNoue, Headworks President and CEO

Welcome HeadsUP Readers:

Last month I had the opportunity to visit lovely Northern Ireland’s wastewater treatment plants. The fields and hills in the countryside were just as green as you would imagine, even with snow covering spots here and there. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day this month, we bring you a case study from the Limavady Wastewater Treatment Plant on the Emerald Isle, including North Ireland Water’s opinion on the Headworks’ equipment’s ability to Michele_Limavadyresolve their unique challenges.  It’s not by a stroke of luck that Headworks was chosen to install screens in this harsh Irish environment.
This March edition also celebrates the 130th birthday of one of the world’s most famous geniuses, Albert Einstein. We hope you enjoy learning a bit about him in this month’s newsletter.  We’ve also included a short article listing some of the top scientific discovers impacting our health and society to date.
Through the brilliant minds and the dedication of scientists like him, we have explored everything from planets to nano particles. Most of these discoveries came through years of dedication and hard work, but a few brilliant discoveries happened purely by accident. Click here to view an entertaining list of the Top Ten Accidental Discoveries.

May the luck of the Irish be with you this month and all the rest of the year,

Michele LaNoue
Team Leader
