Here in Houston the sun is shining and the trail riders have come into town for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Some of the Headworks employees have already enjoyed the World’s Championship Bar-B-Cue Contest, a highlight to the run-up of the Rodeo each year. Last year an estimated 217,640 guests feasted at this event. All profits go to charity! Yee-haw!
Quick news – Headworks Bio was awarded the contract last week to install and commission the Advanced Wastewater Plant (AWP) on the Allure of the Seas, sister ship of the Oasis of the Seas being built by STX Europe in Finland. The Allure will be delivered to Royal Caribbean Cruise Line at the end of this year. The AWPs on these ships clean wastewater well above the Alaskan marine discharge limits!
This month’s case study focuses on a uniquely challenging bar screen application in Canada. Here’s an application that only had 1 day to be installed and made operational while overcoming extremely constricted space allowances! As any of you who know Jack can confirm, it is an honor and a pleasure to work with Jack day to day to solve the problems of our customers around the world!
Well, for many the wished for early end to winter hasn’t made it yet. This seems certainly seems like a period of natural disasters. All of us at the Headworks Family extend our thoughts, hopes and prayers for all of the people in the world experiencing these extreme climatic and geological events.
